Each year in September, the OARM hosts a three day conference designed specifically for those responsible for managing imaging departments in the province of Ontario. A combination of education, networking opportunities and social events add to the success of this very worthwhile occasion.
Currently held at the Hockley Valley Resort and Conference Centre near Orangeville, the conference attracts over 100 imaging managers, charge technologists and sonographers, supervisors, and vendors from all over the province. High profile speakers and topics of interest to our attendees form the educational component of this event.
Collaboration with our vendor partners is essential, as they support the conference through their financial assistance and attendance. The conference affords an opportunity for managers and vendors to meet and chat in a relaxing venue away from the work environment.
Plans are now being finalized for our 2012 conference, at Hockley Valley Resort near Orangeville, Wednesday September 12 to Friday September 14. Please note that the conference will start with golf on Wednesday instead of our usual Tuesday start. Please also note another important change: as part of the on line registration process you will be directed to book your own room at Hockley Valley using a Code provided there.
